BY AIR
The fastest and easiest way to get to the island is by air. Mallorca is connected with 174 destinations. Son Sant Joan airport is the third busiest airport in Spain, only surpassed by Madrid-Barajas and El Prat-Barcelona.
Over 20 airlines operate in the airport and provide flights connecting to the mainland and the main European capital cities. Furthermore, several airlines have made Palma their hub.
BY SEA
The Port of Palma is the main port on the island. Ferry companies provide daily connections to the island from Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and Denia.
FROM PALMA AIRPORT
The Conventre Centre and Meliá Palma Bay hotel are located 8,5 km from the airport and can be easily reached.
- Bus no. 1 runs every 9 minutes from 6 - 2 am (return to airport from 4.45 - 2 am). Costs: €5 (price level 2023). It takes you directly to the Convention Centre within 15 minutes. The bus then continues it's way to the city centre.
- A taxi transfer will take 5-10 minutes and costs approx. €25.
