Why volunteer?
- Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, get connected and network with scientists and professionals dedicated to the various aspects of clinical cell analysis

- Volunteers play an integral role and contribute to the success of the meeting

Name badges and tickets
For security purposes, delegates and exhibitors must wear their name badges at all times. Entrance to the meeting rooms and the exhibition area are limited to badge holders only.
Delegates who have pre-registered for the Conference Dinner on Friday 27 September will have a code on the badge. Please do not forget to bring your badge with you, it will be checked at the entrance.
General information
Abstracts and presentations
The Abstract book will be e-mailed to registered participants before the Conference. The individual abstracts can also be consulted in the congress app.
The PPT presentations of the invited speakers will be made available after the Conference. Registered participants will receive an access code by email by 28 October. The presentations will be available for a limited time. If you are an ESCCA member, you will have unlimited access to these presentations via the membership section.
Accreditation
Accreditation will NOT be applied for. Approximately 3 weeks after the Conference you will receive a personal certificate of attendance stating the number of contact hours.
Certificate of attendance
A personal certificate of attendance stating the number of contact hours/credits will be sent to you by e-mail after the Conference.
Conference Language
The official conference language is English.
Conference app
On Friday 23 September you will receive an email with instructions and a direct link to download the ESCCA Conference App. Please check your spam folder if you haven’t received this email by 17:00 hrs. A printed programme will not be made available. We strongly recommend that you download the App and create an account before you travel to the Conference. It contains all the information!
Dress Code
The dress code during the entire meeting including the Conference Dinner is 'smart casual'.
Electricity
Spain use the type F electrical plug. This plug has two round pins, spaced about 2 cm apart, and is the same as those used in many countries in Continental Europe. The electricity network operates at 230 Volts. If the standard voltage in your country is in the range of 100 V - 127 V (as is in the US, Canada and most South American countries), you need a voltage converter and/or a combined power plug adapter/voltage converter.
Internet
Free WiFi will be available in the Convention Centre for roaming and browsing on mobile phones, tablets/iPads.
Insurance
Delegates are advised to arrange adequate travel, health and other insurance before they leave their home country. The Organising Committee and the Conference organisers will not be liable and will not compensate for any damage incurred to participants during the ESCCA Conference.
Mobile phones
Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent, non-vibrate mode when delegates are in the meeting rooms.
Photographing and filming
Filming of lectures and participants is not allowed without prior consent. When taking pictures, please bear the privacy of other delegates in mind.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted in the Jaarbeurs, public buildings, public transportation and in all restaurants.
Tipping
Tipping in restaurants, taxis and hotels is common. The normal tip is 10% for restaurants or taxis. In hotels, porters are generally tipped 1 euro per bag.
